Mark Hsu
Mr. Hsu joined H&Q Asia Pacific in 2001 and is responsible for the firm’s private equity investments in China. Prior to joining H&QAP, Mr. Hsu was Director of Business Development for Sina.com. From 1997 to 1999, Mr. Hsu was an attorney with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett where he focused on securities and M&A transactions in the private equity industry. Mr. Hsu received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and his Juris Doctor from Columbia University. Mr. Hsu has served on the boards of various companies, including GoRemote Communications (acquired by iPass), Linmark (HKSE: 0915), The Churchill Club, AAMA, East West Players, NAATA and Vision New America. Mr. Hsu was also founding Vice Chair of the Asian Pacific Islander American Leadership Council at the Democratic National Committee in 2004.
