Peter Tan

Mr. Tan, Managing Director of H&Q Asia Pacific, is responsible for investing and managing the portfolio companies of the Philippine local funds as well as the Philippine investments of H&QAP’s regional funds. Prior to joining H&Q Asia Pacific in 1994, Mr. Tan was Director of International Operations for the Magnolia Division of San Miguel Corporation, one of the largest food and beverage conglomerate in Southeast Asia. Prior to his responsibilities at San Miguel, Mr. Tan was a Senior Partner at a venture development firm in New York. Previous to that, Mr. Tan was Managing Director of the International Division of a leading New York scientific equipment and supplies company where he spent 14 years of his business career.

Mr. Tan received a Bachelor of Arts degree at the Ateneo de Manila University and his M.B.A. at the State University of New York.
