Tzong Yeong Lin

Mr. Lin, Chairman of H&QAP Taiwan, is responsible for investments in Greater China. Prior to joining H&Q Asia Pacific in 2008, Mr. Lin served as the founder and chairman of the board of Parawin VC and Riselink VC since 2002.

After receiving his LLM from National Taiwan University in 1977, Mr. Lin joined the government service. His professional experiences include Vice Chairman of Securities and Futures Commission, Ministry of Finance (1991-93), Vice Chairman & President of Fubon Securities (1994-98), Chairman of Grand Cathy Securities (1998), Chairman of Securities and Futures Commission, Ministry of Finance (1998-2000), Administrative Vice Minister of Ministry of Finance (2000-02), Chairman of the International Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) (2002-06), and President of Mega Financial Holding Company (2003-06).

Mr. Lin also served as a member of the board of directors of Yageo Corporation and Ralec Electronic Corporation. Mr. Lin is also the senior advisor to Mega International Commercial Bank and Chairman of the Culture and Educational Foundation of the ICBC.
