Virapan Pulges

Mr. Pulges is responsible for investments in Thailand. Prior to joining H&Q Asia Pacific in 1990, Mr. Pulges was the Assistant Managing Director of Thai Seri Cold Storage Company Limited for six years, one of the largest Thai seafood processors and exporters.

Mr. Pulges was also instrumental in setting up the Thai Venture Capital Association and had served as the President of the Association. He is currently a Director and the Treasurer of the Association. Since the closing of H&Q (Thailand) office in April 2005, Mr. Pulges has continued as consultant to the company for divestment of the remaining investment in Thailand.  He is currently the Managing Director of TICON Industrial Connection Plc, a publicly listed company which was founded by H&Q Asia Pacific in 1990.

Mr. Pulges obtained his Bachelor of Science degree with special honors in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado with a scholarship from IBM.
